Basketball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Havre Blue Ponies 72-32. The Broncs lost against the Blue Ponies in their previous head to head back in March of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 54-37 score last time.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Havre, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Hamilton and Lockwood will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Lockwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hamilton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Havre, they and Butte Central Catholic will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Havre knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Butte Central Catholic likes a good challenge.
