Volleyball Recap: Arlington Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clarkstown South, Arlington was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Suffern Mounties. The Admirals haven't had any issues with the Mounties recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Suffern scored at least 22 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 17-25, 25-22.

Caroline Urso paced Arlington's offense, picking up 12 kills. Urso got some help from Amelia Giorgi and her 20 assists. Giorgi was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Arlington now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Suffern, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Arlington will challenge Haldane at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Suffern, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on John Jay at 5:00 p.m. on the 29th.
