 If Langley was riding high  off their  7-0 takedown of Herndon last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Langley Saxons lost  8-2 to the Yorktown Patriots on Tuesday. Langley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Yorktown apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in April.
 Langley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Charlotte Loving, who  went 2-for-4 with a  double.
 Langley's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-4-1. As for Yorktown, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record  this season.
 Langley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  5-0  win vs. Herndon on the 11th. Yorktown has also already played their next contest,  a  7-6  victory against Washington-Liberty on the 11th.
