Basketball Recap: Blue Valley Northwest Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

It was a classic North v. South duel when Blue Valley Northwest duked it out withBlue Valley Southwest on Friday. The Blue Valley Northwest Huskies walked away with a 53-43 victory over the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Blue Valley Southwest still got an impressive performance from Lily Unruh, who went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points. What's more, Unruh also racked up four boards, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madison Mann, who posted nine points.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
