Volleyball Recap: Thunderbird Triumphs

Thunderbird's tournament run continued when they took on Marana on Friday. The Titans came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Sophia Frandsen paced Thunderbird's offense, picking up eight kills. Frandsen got some help from Cecelia Bouchard and her 15 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Marana lost, don't look at Sophia Maytorena. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist.

Thunderbird's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Marana, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Thunderbird has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Horizon Honors on the 19th. As for Marana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against North Valley Christian Academy on the 19th.
