Amarillo is 10-0 against Caprock since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Amarillo Sandies will face off against the Caprock Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. Amarillo is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

Amarillo is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for Caprock, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

Everything came up roses for Amarillo against Caprock in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 70-23 win. In that game, Amarillo amassed a halftime lead of 43-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
