Bishop Rosecrans had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Catholic Central Crusaders. For the Bishops, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Catholic Central scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Bishop Rosecrans didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Zanesville on the 18th. As for Catholic Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Harrison Central on the 19th.
