Football Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

Bluffton suffered their biggest loss since October 25, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 47-17 loss at the hands of the Adams Central Flying Jets. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-3.

Despite the defeat, Bluffton had strong showings from Axton Beste, who threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns, and Cooper Craig, who gained 119 total yards and a touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bluffton fell to 7-1. As for Adams Central, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Bluffton and Adams Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 83rd) will meet Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (ranked 286th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Adams Central will challenge Woodlan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (35 vs. 242).
