South Garner skates past Clayton with ease

The South Garner Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Clayton 79-30 at home. South Garner has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Leading South Garner to victory were Tamia Darden and Kimaya Barnes. Darden scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Barnes dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 11 assists, and 13 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnes has scored all season. Taylor Moore was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.

South Garner is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Clayton, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

South Garner will head out on the road to face off against the Storm at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Willow Spring will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive. Clayton will take on the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Garner is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
