Southern Fulton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Forbes Road.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Southern Fulton took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-3, 25-10.

Southern Fulton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bailey Hull, who had eight aces. Hull is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lakyin Hixson, who had six aces.

They weren't the only good server: Southern Fulton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Southern Fulton's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Southern Fulton will square off against Meyersdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forbes Road will be paying especially close attention to Southern Fulton's matchup: after Southern Fulton faces off against Northern Bedford County, they'll take on Forbes Road again at 6:00 p.m. on October 6.
