Basketball Recap: Sardis Comes Up Short

Sardis lost against Douglas back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sardis Lions fell 72-59 to the Douglas Eagles.

Sardis has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Douglas, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-9 record.

Sardis will be playing at home against Crossville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Sardis' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Douglas, they will head out on the road to square off against Boaz at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
