Baseball Recap: Susquehanna Township's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Susquehanna Township dropped their record down to 8-5 on Monday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins on the road. They lost 15-3 to the East Pennsboro Panthers. If the HANNA were looking for revenge after losing 16-6 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Susquehanna Township saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Hertz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Ayden Fallows was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

As for East Pennsboro, the win keeps they at an undefeated 15-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average this season.

On East Pennsboro's side, Jovi DeJesus and Chase Deibler did most of the damage at the plate: DeJesus went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Deibler went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Eric Foster Jr., who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Pennsboro beat Susquehanna Township by a score of 14-1 later that day.
