Volleyball Recap: Aubrey Rogers Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Chiara Gagliano and Adeline Sundall + How To Watch

Aubrey Rogers and Barron Collier squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Aubrey Rogers had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Adeline Sundall and Chiara Gagliano certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Sundall had ten digs, two aces, and one block, while Gagliano had seven digs and five aces.

Barron Collier found their leader in sophomore Bryanna Abadia, who had 15 digs and five aces.

Aubrey Rogers has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Barron Collier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-15.

Aubrey Rogers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Barron Collier, they are taking a road trip to challenge Estero at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
