Quapaw dropped their record down to 15-16 on Monday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of Chouteau-Mazie by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Quapaw of the 16-9 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Quapaw saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Fox, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Fox has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

As for Chouteau-Mazie, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-16 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games.

On Chouteau-Mazie's side, the team relied heavily on Kyler Hill, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Hill has launched this season.

As of now, neither Quapaw nor Chouteau-Mazie have any future games scheduled.
