Snowflake is 8-2 against Blue Ridge since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Snowflake Lobos will get right back to it and host the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. Snowflake will be strutting in after a victory while Blue Ridge will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, everything went Snowflake's way against Payson as Snowflake made off with a 52-32 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 61-49 to Alchesay. While losing is never fun, the Yellow Jackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 284th, while the Falcons are ranked 125th).

Snowflake's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Snowflake strolled past Blue Ridge in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 60-45. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Blue Ridge's Jason Bonito, who posted 20 points. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for Snowflake to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
