McNair's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Weston Ranch Cougars 3-2. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

McNair wouldn't go down easily and took Weston Ranch into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-11, 24-26, 15-10.

McNair can attribute much of their success to Ryan Cao, who had seven digs and two aces. Kaleb Cabanilla was another key player, getting 17 digs and three assists.

McNair now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Weston Ranch, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

McNair has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Franklin on the 10th. As for Weston Ranch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Stagg on the 10th.
