The Carson Cougars will head out to square off against the North Davidson Black Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Carson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.

Carson will bounce into Monday's match after beating Robinson, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Carson walked away with a 3-1 win over Robinson on Wednesday. While the Cougars didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-17-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lexlyth Sotelo and Skarlett Henriquez scored all three of Carson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, North Davidson kept a clean sheet against Forbush on Tuesday. They blew past the Falcons 9-0. Considering the Black Knights have won three games by more than five goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was North Davidson's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Carson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-1 record this season.
