Baldwyn had won ten straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 10-0 to make it 11. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Potts Camp Cardinals 65-28. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

As for Potts Camp, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. Having soared to a lofty 66 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Potts Camp saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Malachi Brownlee posted nine points.

Baldwyn and Potts Camp will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bearcats see the court they'll take on Falkner at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Potts Camp, their break will end when they face Hatley at 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
