Volleyball Recap: Monsignor Pace Takes a Loss

Monsignor Pace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Broward Bobcats.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Monsignor Pace sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 15-9.

Despite the defeat, Monsignor Pace saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lucas Neptune had 19 digs and two aces.

Monsignor Pace's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Broward, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Monsignor Pace wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Hialeah on the 8th. As for West Broward, they will head out to challenge South Broward at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
