Softball Recap: Peoria Notre Dame Comes Up Short

Peoria Notre Dame lost against Alleman back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Irish fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peoria Notre Dame saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexie Dallinger-Eaker, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Peoria Notre Dame now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Alleman, their record is now 9-19.

Looking ahead, Peoria Notre Dame will head out to challenge Richwoods at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Alleman, they will square off against Galesburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers are facing the Silver Streaks at the right time seeing as the Silver Streaks are stuck on a 30-game losing streak.
