Rancho Cucamonga kept a clean sheet against Rialto on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rialto Knights. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Jayden Riley and Griffin Fittante scored both of Rancho Cucamonga's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

The win made it two in a row for Rancho Cucamonga and bumps their season record up to 6-1-1. As for Rialto, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3-1 record this season.

Rancho Cucamonga didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Granite Hills on the 27th. As for Rialto, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fontana at 4:00 p.m. on January 10th. Fontana will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Rialto surely won't give up without a fight.
