The Crowley Gent's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 48-19 defeat at the hands of Erath. Crowley has struggled against Erath recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Alaysia Arvie was Crowley's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Arvie also led the team in assists with two. She held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
Crowley bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.4 points per game. As for Erath, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Coincidentally, Crowley and Erath will both be playing St. Martinville the next time they take the court. Crowley will host St. Martinville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Erath will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
