Basketball Recap: Wardlaw Hartridge Comes Up Short

Wardlaw Hartridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 65-33 defeat at the hands of the Somerville Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 405th, while the Pioneers are ranked 76th).

Wardlaw Hartridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Somerville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Wardlaw Hartridge will face off against Noor-Ul-Iman on Saturday. As for Somerville, they will head out on the road to face off against Dunellen at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dunellen will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Somerville surely won't give up without a fight.
