Littlefield hadn't done well against Brownfield recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Littlefield Wildcats skirted past the Brownfield Cubs 13-12. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 10-9 loss the last time these two teams met.

Maggie McNeese was incredible, going a perfect2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Torres, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one triple.

Littlefield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .526. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Littlefield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Littlefield will head out to challenge Lubbock Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brownfield, they are taking a road trip to face off against Coronado at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
