Football Game Recap: Belmont vs. Wonewoc-Center/Weston

Belmont won the last time they met up with Wonewoc-Center/Weston, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Belmont were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Wonewoc-Center/Weston 40-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for Belmont as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

The victory bumped Belmont's record up to 1-6. Wonewoc-Center/Weston are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.

Next week Belmont take on Potosi/Cassville at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams worked hard to overcome the odds in their previous battles and are not about to give an easy one away. As for Wonewoc-Center/Weston, they will face off against De Soto. Wonewoc-Center/Weston stagger into the match hobbled by six consecutive losses while De Soto skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
