Volleyball Recap: Jefferson's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Jefferson had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Belvidere North Blue Thunder by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Jefferson got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 30-28.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Belvidere North, their loss was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-20.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Belvidere North will square off against rival Belvidere at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
