Volleyball Game Preview: Santiago Cavaliers vs. Magnolia Sentinels

The Santiago Cavaliers are taking a road trip to face off against the Magnolia Sentinels at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Santiago didn't have quite enough to beat Century and fell 3-2.

Santiago wouldn't go down easily and took Century into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Magnolia came up short against Savanna on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 17-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Santiago, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Santiago couldn't quite get it done against Magnolia in their previous matchup on March 11th as they fell 3-1. Can Santiago avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
