Recap: Silverado Skyhawks vs. Durango Trailblazers
The Silverado Skyhawks won against the Durango Trailblazers on Friday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Silverado strolled past Durango with points to spare, taking the game 66-48. That's two games straight that Silverado has won by exactly 18 points.
Silverado's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cyril Franklin, Jr. led the charge by scoring 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Franklin, Jr.'s third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kayden Goss, who scored 14 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Silverado and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Durango, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Silverado will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Green Valley at 8:30 a.m. on December 2nd. Green Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Durango, they will square off against Somerset Sky Pointe at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Somerset Sky Pointe focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday.
