After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Immaculate Heart Academy, Cranford was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Elizabeth Minutemen. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Minutemen recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Cranford's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Elizabeth, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Cranford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-6 defeat against Governor Livingston on the 15th. As for Elizabeth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against Johnson on the 15th.
