Basketball Game Preview: Longwood Panthers vs. Dunbar Mightymen

The Longwood Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Dunbar Mightymen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Longwood will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Longwood beat Goode STEM Academy 34-28.

Meanwhile, Dunbar had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 42-19 margin over the Panthers.

Longwood pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins didn't necessarily come from the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.2 points per game. As for Dunbar, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
