Volleyball Recap: Cambridge's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Cambridge had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cozad Haymakers. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Haymakers, too.

Cambridge not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Cozad between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17.

Brooklyn Holtze paced Cambridge's offense, picking up ten kills. Holtze got some help from Mallory Springer and her ten assists.

Cambridge's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Cozad, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Cambridge and Cozad will both be playing McCook the next time they take the court. The Haymakers will host the Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
