Basketball Recap: Bishop Guertin Takes a Loss

Bishop Guertin lost against Nashua South back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bishop Guertin Cardinals fell 71-60 to the Nashua South Purple Panthers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Cardinals still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop Guertin and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Nashua South, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Guertin will host Keene at 6:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Nashua South, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dover at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Nashua South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Dover likes a good challenge.
