Preview: Frostproof Bulldogs vs. Hardee Wildcats
After two games on the road, Frostproof is heading back home. They will take on the Hardee Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Frostproof has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 999 points over their last 14 matchups.
Even though Hardee scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Frostproof still came out on top. Frostproof enjoyed a cozy 78-60 victory over Hardee. Given Frostproof's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Hardee is ranked 646th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sevastian Rosado continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 37 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Frostproof's points. Turral Berry was another key contributor, scoring 22 points.
Frostproof pushed their record up to 11-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hardee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Frostproof strolled past Hardee in their previous matchup on Tuesday by a score of 78-60. Will Frostproof repeat their success, or does Hardee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
