Volleyball Game Preview: James Kenan Tigers vs. Union Spartans + How To Watch

The James Kenan Tigers will head out to square off against the Union Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

James Kenan is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to North Duplin. Surprisingly, this marked the Tigers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

James Kenan started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Union unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to West Bladen on Monday.

James Kenan took their victory against Union in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
