Volleyball Recap: Conard's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Conard waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East Hartford Hornets. This was payback for the Red Wolves, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Conard won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-20.

Leading Conard to victory were Jonah W and Aidan P. W had eight digs and four assists, while P had 11 kills, five digs, and three aces. P has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 16 times he's played.

Conard's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for East Hartford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.
