Softball Preview: Lee County Yellow Jackets vs. Pinecrest Patriots
The Lee County Yellow Jackets will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Pinecrest Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest came up short against Southern Lee on Tuesday and fell 17-14. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (12), the Patriots still had to take the loss.
Pinecrest got a massive performance out of Arianna Reddinger, who scored four runs while going 3-for-4. Those four runs gave Reddinger a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emily Hatcher, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.
Even though they lost, Pinecrest was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .459. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive games.
