League recap: Blountstown extends winning streak with victory over Sneads

Blountstown extended the longest winning streak in 1A District 4 this week by beating Sneads, 21-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Tigers.

Port St. Joe took down Franklin County 56-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Seahawks' Logan McLeod and Stefan Devaughn have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. McLeod has thrown for 121 yards this season, while Devaughn, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has five catches for 90 yards. The Sharks' Jarkice Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 531.

Port St. Joe made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,883 from 9,275. The improvement was the result of 56-14 victory over Franklin County last week.
