Joseph Shelton, Lincoln's leading scorer, solidified his role on Friday. Shelton wasn't messing around, putting up 23 points and five assists. The matchup was his fifth straight with 18 or morepoints. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lincoln's points.

Shelton and Lincoln will challenge Leland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions had to take a loss when they last met the Chargers, but Shelton had little to do with the loss: he posted 11 points.
