Don Lugo beats Claremont for their third straight win

The Don Lugo Conquistadores entered their tilt with the Claremont Wolfpack with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Don Lugo came out on top against Claremont by a score of 17-10 on Thursday. For Don Lugo, this counts as revenge for the 35-0 loss Claremont walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Don Lugo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Boe Canty, who gained 109 total yards and a touchdown. Gavin Hrynezuk was another key contributor, picking up 119 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Don Lugo's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Claremont, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9.
Don Lugo will square off against Santa Paula at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Santa Paula is ranked 558th, while Don Lugo is ranked 572nd). Claremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
