Searcy and Pine Bluff are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Lions will head out to take on the Zebras at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Searcy will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Searcy gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Jacksonville as they made off with a 48-27 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Titans are ranked 87th).

Jackson Smith had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 156 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 58 yards.

Meanwhile, Pine Bluff managed to keep up with Beebe until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Zebras came up short against the Badgers, falling 35-12. The Zebras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Searcy, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Searcy beat Pine Bluff 28-21 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Zebras turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
