Softball Recap: Farmington Extends Winning Streak to Three

Farmington extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 15-10 in the process. Everything went their way against the Astoria/VIT Rebels as they made off with a 12-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Farmers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

As for Astoria/VIT, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. Their defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

For Astoria/VIT's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was L Lehman, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Farmington will square off against Abingdon/Avon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Astoria/VIT does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
