Volleyball Recap: Eagle Pass Comes Up Short

Eagle Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Medina Valley Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Eagle Pass was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-22.

Eagle Pass' defeat dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Medina Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-17.

Coincidentally, Eagle Pass and Medina Valley will both be playing Laredo LBJ the next time they take the court. The Panthers will host the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
