Basketball Recap: Lyons Comes Up Short

Lyons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 44-19 to the Southeast of Saline Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while the Trojans are ranked 109th).

Lyons' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Southeast of Saline, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Lyons has already played their next game (against Republic County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Southeast of Saline has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Clay Center.
