Volleyball Recap: Morristown Comes Up Short

Morristown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates.

Morristown's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Looking ahead, Morristown will look to defend their home court on the 19th against Ridge at 4:00 p.m. As for West Windsor-Plainsboro South, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Westfield on the 10th.
