Softball Recap: Bismarck Comes Up Short

Bismarck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Genoa Central Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 9-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bismarck now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Genoa Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bismarck is set to take on their familiar foe Ashdown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Genoa Central will square off against rival Centerpoint at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
