Basketball Recap: Western Reserve Takes a Loss

Western Reserve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Crestview Cougars, falling 75-52. While losing is never fun, the Roughriders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 727th, while the Cougars are ranked 209th).

Western Reserve's record is now 2-7. As for Crestview, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Western Reserve wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-50 loss against Huron on the 11th. Crestview has also already played their next match, an 83-56 victory against Mansfield Christian on the 11th.
