Volleyball Recap: Vilonia Comes Up Short

Vilonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Greenbrier Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Vilonia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Greenbrier, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Vilonia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Mount St. Mary Academy on the 16th. As for Greenbrier, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Maumelle on the 16th.
