Softball Recap: Coleman Cougars vs. Gibraltar Vikings
Coleman won against Gillett on Thursday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Cougars didn't even let the Gibraltar Vikings on the board, marking the Cougars' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The win was just business as usual for the Cougars, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Makenzie Nowak made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, Coleman let Macy Nowak and Alyssa Kurth run wild.
