Football Recap: Braxton Downey and Austin Elliott Secure Win for Phil Campbell

After losing to Midfield the last time they met, Phil Campbell decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bobcats walked away with a 36-26 victory over the Patriots on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Leading Phil Campbell to victory were Austin Elliott and Braxton Downey. Elliott rushed for 51 yards and one TD, while Downey rushed for 98 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Phil Campbell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 317 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
