Soccer Recap: Hoquiam Takes a Loss

Hoquiam came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Montesano Bulldogs, falling 7-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Montesano this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-3 defeat back in March.

Hoquiam's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Montesano, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hoquiam will face off against rival Elma at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Montesano is set to square off against their familiar foe Tenino at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
